ABOUT x.factory
x.factory is operated by Chaihuo Maker Space, Shenzhen’s first and leading maker space since 2011, and partnered with Seeed Studio, an open source hardware company that has been serving the global maker community since 2008.
We do two things at x.factory –
MAKE – x.factory is an “open factory” with production-level equipment for in-house prototyping and small-batch production services, as well as co-working spaces to make your project.
CONNECT – x.factory helps members to connect to Shenzhen’s vast resources in supply chain, as well as industry and market opportunities in China.
OUR SPACE
x.factory is a space of over 1000m² designed for making that includes a wood shop, a metal shop, a multi-purpose room, a 3D printing workshop, and a classroom, where our maker community can meet, share ideas and collaborate.
OUR EQUIPMENT
x.factory is an “open factory” equipped with tools and materials for in-house prototyping and small-batch production services.
We also collaborate with local supply chains to provide versatile resources, making it more agile and efficient for makers to go through the process of "prototyping -- engineering sample -- small-batch production -- large-volume manufacturing”.
We connect maker professionals (makerpros) through a variety of events and services, for makers to exchange skills and knowledge and find opportunities to collaborate with local industries and markets .
